My name is Sesar. I have worked here for 9 years, in which time I have received a degree from Chico State in Music, played in several local bands, and have made the best friends a man could have here at the Music Connection. The end

Dan ElsenTop of Page

I started playing music in my 5th grade school band, started drumming at age 15 and formed my first rock band that year. At 16, I joined local band Fenix Down and wrote, rehearsed and performed with the band for six years and released a full-length album. I have a B.A. in Music Industry and Technology from Chico State.

In addition to working at the Music Connection, I also teach drums here
and play in the local experimental group La Fin du Monde, a five-piece instrumental collective. We like to describe our music as "epic, memorable, instrumental progressive rock." Check out the band at our MySpace site and get our CD right here at Music Connection.

I am Kirk. I love music and helping you, the customer, with whatever it is that you need. I mostly play metal of the most devastating variety, but I also like pretty music a whole lot. If you ever want guitar lessons, I also do that. All ages and skill levels welcome. If you are out on the town and want to punish your ears and have a great time, I play in Armed for Apocalypse and the elusive Red Giant.

Casey SchmidtTop of Page

Casey has been a drum teacher for the Music Connection for past three years now. Before that, he had spent time as worker at Sound Source and was part owner of the drum oriented company, "The Epicenter Drum Shop". He then spent time at the L.A. Music Acadamey after his business venture, and found a home at the Music Connection as drum teacher. He eventually finagled his way onto the Music Connection Crew, where has spent a year as worker, drum teacher, and overall drum nerd.
You can catch him in various local bands, jazz drumming his heart away to the sounds of Bacon on the grill and Ribs on the BBQ. He loves coffee, John Coltrane, and his girlfriend Allysa. Know something about drums? He probably knows more.
The end.
